The heart of HY leadership is to raise up leaders with a heart and passion to raise up a generation that will live radical for Jesus. Resultantly, we do not endorse leadership based on talent or experience. Simply put, if the heart and character of a person is there: past history, talent, and/or experience play little role in the decision of making him/her a leader.

Agreement

In accepting a position of leadership at the HY, the youth ministry of House Of The Lord Church, I understand my responsibilities are to live an exemplary life of Christ like character, I therefore declare: I have received Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior! Prayer and personal Bible study are an active part of my life and I believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God from Genesis to Revelation. I agree with the doctrinal views and What We Believe statements of the HY (House of the Lord Church) as outlined to me in the link at the bottom of this page, and I willingly submit to the God ordained authority of the HY leadership. I also recognize that being actively involved in HY leadership meetings will be part of my leadership expectations. These schedules will be supplied upon my acceptance of leadership. I understand that if I miss more than 3 HY youth nights a quarter or am late more than 3 times it may jeopardize my position and understand it could result in my dismissal from HY leadership. I understand my obligation to be an example to and for the church and therefore commit myself to avoid the appearance of evil. I understand that I must maintain ALL social media platforms with Christ Like behavior and must friend/follow my pastors on all platforms and keep nothing hidden from Pastoral Staff. I also understand that if I have graduated high school and am single that I cannot date or pursue students in a romantic fashion in House Youth and may result in my immediate dismissal. If I cannot keep these commitments or if anything on my application has been found untrue, I understand it would jeopardize my position and could result in my dismissal (either temporarily or permanently) or resignation from HY leadership.
